Of late, I’ve stopped applying for the IPOs.
Few reasons, most IPOs are overpriced & the investment bankers don’t leave anything on the table for new investors.
Secondly, even if the IPO is fairly valued (which is rare these days); chances of making fat profits are low because of the excessive oversubscriptions & the few people getting allotments. That too 1 lot.
In HNIs category too it’s not worth applying because of the proportionate allotments which are usually peanuts because of overwhelming oversubscriptions.
Because of these, I’ve mostly stopped tracking the IPO market.
It’s just simply not worth my time.
There are better & ample opportunities in listed space to make money.
