Maximum profits are made in the last leg of bull market.
When index is up by 1% but your stock portfolio is up by 3-5%.
It is in this phase when the duds too start performing after a long period of underperformance or consolidation.
The last leg of bull market is the most beautiful leg. Your portfolio rises like anything. Every other stock is green. You feel king of the world.
Enjoy this last leg. Though, let it not seduce you to think as a god. Stay grounded. Remember, it’s market. What goes up, will come down & what’s down, will go up.
Enjoy the bull market. Don’t let it get in your head. Keep some cash in hand. Ideally, I prefer 5-10% of my portfolio to be cash component.
The key question is, am I going to sell everything during this phase? No. I’ll hold all my quantities with patience, for I don’t know till when this phase will last.
