Tips On Changing Life For Good – Part 2

Good habits lead to good life & vice versa.

Here are the habits you must form which will boost the quality of your life multifolds:

1. Read everyday. Keep a book at your bedside & work desk. Read if you’re sleepy. Read when you’re fresh. Read when you’re bored. Read between meetings. Read. Read. Read. That’s what all smart people do.

2. No phone for the 1st hour of waking up. Checking your phone immediately when you wakeup messes up with your thinking pattern. Put your phone on flight mode for initial 1 hour of the day.

3. Working out. Keep showing up to your gym. Go on walks to clear your mind.

4. Getting daily sunlight has direct correlation to better moods. Get outside.

5. No coffee (caffeine) after 5pm. It’ll help you sleep faster & better. Use melatonin strips, if needed, before 30 minutes of going to bed. (Ask a doctor for recommendations).

6. Daily meditation. Sit & let the thoughts come & go. Do this for 60 days (preferably 1 hour daily) & see your anxiety go away.

7. Visualisation. Write down your goals & review them and work on it everyday.

8. Listening to positive affirmations. You’ll find many affirmations clips on Youtube.

9. Cutting off negative thoughts & people. Ignoring breaking news like plague.

10. Turning off notifications to Facebook (I deleted the app itself), Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp & Youtube. This reduces clutter & messed up thinking.

11. Most important of all, having a fixed bed routine. Good sleep leads to a good life. Go to bed & wake up at fixed time. Set a daily fixed alarm, if needed. A friend who works at Google has kept an alarm which reminds him to go to sleep.

12. Staying hydrated with water, juices & other fluids will do wonders to your energy. Pro tip – Keep a bottle of water on your work desk & keep sipping at regular intervals.

Follow these simple habits. You don’t need to invest thousands of rupees. You only need to invest your efforts. And even if that you can’t do, then god bless you.

Just do these repeatedly. Over a period of time you’ll build consistency.

Don’t beat yourself up in case you miss for a day or two.

Come back. Try again. And again. Eventually, the quality of your life is BOUND to improve. That’s my guarantee.

As always, you can thank me later!
