The Guiding Principles I Follow

A guiding principle I follow, in life & investing, is to do what I feel right from inside.

Listening to my intuition & instincts have helped me, saved me & thrived me. Time after time.

Doing what you feel is right from the core helps you go a long way.

Time after time, I’ve observed that my own calls (decisions) have been better when I listened to myself keeping aside what people will think.

Usually what society (masses) wants you to do may not be the best thing in your own interest.

You know what you want, better.

You know your life better than anyone out there.

You take your decisions. Right or wrong, time will tell.

I started investing at 18. Many thought I’m trying to be an oversmart guy. Ironically, I’m doing better than most my age.

I didn’t party in my college days. Studied day & night. My peers didn’t found me cool. Today I don’t find them cool.

I don’t do any drugs, smoke or alcohol. Again, from societal norms, what a dull life. Well, I’m sober, in my senses, make better decisions & again live a good life compared to the societal standards.

I didn’t bought any vehicle in my early earning days. While most young adults are still busy paying EMIs (on mediocre vehicles); my SIPs can easily buy me a luxury car. All in cash.

The idea of this blog is not to put down anyone. It’s only to show that sacrifices, bold calls and unconventional thinking & decision making takes you places.

Nobody has a clue, all the time. Everyone’s trying to figure things out. Hence, the default human setting is doing what others are doing. Rather than independently thinking whether this is good for me in the long run or not.

Don’t fall for societal or peer pressure. Do what you feel is right. Always.
