For me, the biggest turn off is poor grammar.
No matter where you come from, irrespective of your qualifications, a decent communication skill with decent grammar will do wonders for you.
I’m not asking you to speak/write Shashi Tharoor level english, though a basic level english with decent punctuations will do fantastic.
Work on your communication skills. As basic as it sounds, it’ll give you an edge over others than any high funda skills.
