The best thing you can do respect the 10 years down the line: you, is to invest today.
Those who don’t invest in their early years & spend it all are probably disrespecting their 10 years futuristic version.
When I was 19, I invested almost everything I earned (Maybe around 90% of my paltry income back then), because I wanted to see the 29 years me in a better place.
Back then it was a paltry investment but it sow the seeds of disciplined investing, patience & having a vision of long run which are crucial in one’s successful investing journey.
At 29, I’m thousand times in a better place, multiple options, better resources than I was at 19.
Invest today. Your older self will respect you.
