This awareness mental model should help you.
Lets quickly walk throw an awareness mental model.
Only ~50% of the people plan what they need to do; it may be their goals, education, marriage, business, relationships, finances, etc.
Of these 50% who planned, majority would keep things in their head. Few days later, they’ll wake up & won’t remember a thing what they planned. Hence 75% are immediately out of the game at this stage.
Now 25% of those who put things on paper won’t execute. Game over. ~12% remaining.
Of these 12% who executed, not all will execute ‘everything’. Some will fail miserably, which is ABSOLUTELY ALLOWED.
Like I’m happy if I execute 60-70% of things planned.
Mathematically, roughly, these 12% have chance to succeed in long term, provided they keep going.
Believe me it’s far easy to reach the 12% mark once you have awareness of the above calculations. Most people aren’t even aware of this.
The actual difficulty starts once you’re into that 12% mark & you will be tested vigorously.
The real game begins here.
Just keep showing up, keep pushing. It’s allowed to fail, it’s not allowed to quit.
Tips:
1. Buy/create a yearly planner.
2. Buy/create a Habit tracker.
3. Buy/create a Task tracker.
Write down things in the above, keep them handy & review them everyday.
You’ll do far better just if you did what you said you will do.
