Wait? Tomorrow’s not new year. It’s still 31 days for new year. Then why to start the resolution tomorrow?
Before you go for new year resolution, on 1st January, get a headstart.
If you want to start waking up at 5 from new year onwards, start building the habit of waking up early in December itself.
If you want to build habit of working out, start going to gym everyday from Dec itself.
If you want to learn something new, start learning for an hour everyday from Dec itself.
If you want to quit smoking next year onwards, start doing it Dec onwards.
It’ll prepare for any hardships / blindspots you may encounter earlier.
This will set you in motion by the time you reach Jan 1st.
Build momentum. In momentum, it’d be easy to carry the habits 1st Jan onwards.
Without momentum, it would be an uphill task. And guess what? Most people quit after few days once motivation is gone.
Habits are what stays once motivation is gone.
