Society Of The Snow is a great movie one must see.
Even though it’s released this Friday on Netflix, I think I’ve seen the earlier documentary something around a decade back on National Geographic.
This is the real life story of passengers traveling to Chile & their plane crashes into the snow clad mountains.
They get stranded amidst the snow blanket. No where to go. Rescue operations over. No help.
It’s a story of survival.
It’s a story of human will power.
It’s a story of resilience.
It’s a story of miracle.
It’s a story of hope.
Overall a highly inspiring movie. Show your kids this movie rather than some random crap. It will have a profound impact on their life like it did to me.
After watching the earlier Net Geo documentary, the story used to be in back of my mind whenever I traveled thru a plane. It’s maybe the survival instinct kicking in & my mind doing scenerio analysis. But this story stayed with me for over a decade and it was a surprise to see when the movie came a day before yesterday.
I rarely recommend movies. This is those one. Do watch it.
