Fun fact. The modern schools charge extravagant fees in pre-primary. Similar to the fees I paid to get highest finance degree of India just a couple of years back.
Anyway. Despite this loot, modern schools fail to teach essential concepts for a good life, namely:
1. Inculcating habit to save & invest in teenage.
2. Personal finance.
3. How to build a strong & resilient mind.
4. Meditation & the art of solitude (Thankfully one of our school teacher went out of the way & did took 5-10 minutes of meditation sessions every morning for entire class).
5. How to practically survive any natural/man made crisis.
6. The basics of growing & cooking your food. What’s the use of your Computer Science degree if you can’t grow food/cook & starve to death in times of crisis?
7. How to make better decisions?
Children’s go to school for 10-12 years & they are aren’t taught these above basic essential skills. Mind well, 10 years is a long time.
Ask your schools what are they charging all this extravagant fees for?
If the basic life isn’t lived in a good way, what’s the use of education?
Aren’t the schools just manufacturing herds for the corporates out there?
