Before you vote, ‘at least‘ consider this:
1. Qualification of the candidate.
2. Criminal cases on the candidate.
3. Assets held by the candidate.
I think, these 3 things can give you much context & make you an informed voter. And if you’re a smart person, you know what to do.
If you vote for some criminal, for me, you too are criminal.
In case, you don’t like any politician or find that all the candidates are tainted or culprit, still go out & vote NOTA. You can also vote NOTA (None of above candidate). Aka, Right To Reject all the above candidates.
It’s still not a waste vote. Afterall, a majority of NOTA will send the message to political parties not to field corrupt/tainted candidates. This way you can make your voice heard.
We still have choice.
Vote.

As per the existing law, there is no legal consequence if NOTA gets the majority of the votes. In such a situation, the next candidate will be declared as the winner. So NOTA is just a reject vote, has no relevance. If NOTA gets 99 and the candidate gets 1 out of 100 voters then candidate is considered as WON & 99 votes considered as reject/waste voates.
