I have a sweet tooth. Where there are sweets, you’ll find me.
Though I read a research which said, too much sugar is dangerous for health.
For this, I went on no sugar for an entire month back then & I saw amazing results.
Hence, to cut down on sugar, couple of years back I stopped adding sugar in my coffee. Ironically, the coffee tastes much better without sugar. I don’t drink coffee with sugar anymore. Black coffee is my favorite! (In case you host me, you know it now).
1 teaspoon of sugar is ~5 grams.
Since I simply cut 2 spoons of sugar from coffee everyday, that saved me from consuming (5gm * 2 spoons * 365 days) 3.5kg of sugar ever year.
Over past few years, I’ve saved myself from 12-15kg of sugar intake.
Assuming you’re an youngster & someone who lives for another 50 years, that would result in saving yourselves from 2 quintals (180kg) of sugar.
Now that’s a big number of cutting sugar. Helpful, especially if you’re from diabetes capital of the world (as most doctors refer India to).
Small changes. Big results.
