Doing an MBA may sound fancy but does it makes you take the risks necessary to start your own business.
There are many MBAs (I’m not talking about the IIM ones) who won’t be able to beat a Chaiwalla’s monthly earnings.
The irony is that, most MBAs fail to start their own business. Most MBAs join a safe 9-5 job. If it were not these jobs, these MBAs would find it hard making a living. Oh, the MBA irony.
Sure, MBA is a prestigious degree compared to being Chaiwalla (No offense to, either MBA or the Chaiwalla) but prestige won’t run your home. You need money for a sustainable living.
Make your kids choose a wise career option.
Teach them real life skills which pays good. Which they don’t need to rely on any corporate jobs.
Unfortunately, today’s education system is designed to manufacture herds who are only suitable for job. Undertaking entrepreneurial path or managing own business efficiently is not in system’s benefit as a whole.
Hard skills, selling, entrepreneurial spirit will save you no matter the recession, depression or inflation. Learn it.
