Sometimes the economy isn’t working properly, you get recessions, inflation, pandemic, wars, natural calamities, etc, etc.
Practically, there’s no end to problems in the complex web of world we’ve built in.
You can’t avoid them, no matter what you do.
And the fun part is, the problem which seems like an end of the world, usually gets over, over a period of time. Even the ones like Great Depression, ended.
The only thing in your control is to keep your composure. Evaluate the risks & stay invested as long as possible.
There’s no free money. Volatility is the price you pay to make premium returns in equities. Accept it.
