As the year comes to an end, you’ll hear people say that the year went away quickly. And you’re most likely to hear it many times in future too.
Now, why does this happens?
Did the earth rotate too fast? No.
Did the clocks ticked too fast? No.
It’s most likely that living a monotonous life, similar days bunched up together and people couldn’t distinguish days from other days.
Almost everyday felt the same. And that’s okay if you’re into a routine or chasing a goal which requires discipline. Else, it’s just living same day over & over which tricks your brain to think that time passed quickly because you lived each day in similar way. And in a blink of an eye, entire decades seem to fleet away.
Now, how can you surpass this feeling?
Have more experiences.
Traveling can be one of the best ways to experience new things. Remember that sweet you had in your vacation but can’t remember what you ate last Friday? Yes, traveling does that wonders for you.
Meet more friends & relatives. Basically meet more people. Depending on your comfort.
Slow down a bit. Meditate. Each session is usually different over the other.
Do more activities. Try new sports. Try new activities. Try new things.
Basically, you should experience new experiences as often as possible to say next year that this year didn’t went thru fast.
Thank me later.
