Every year budget comes & media creates hype around it to gather eyeballs for TRP.
For me & everyone who’s been part of the stock market, the budget becomes a non event in a day or two. Just like every other ‘breaking news’.
Let me ask you 10 highlights of last year’s budget. Only 1/10 would know. Most likely, no one cares to remember what happened in last budget.
My expectations are less & simple. As long as there’s no negative announcement like increased capital gains taxes, retrospective taxes, introduction of tax on the air you breath or any rude taxes, I’m okay with the budget expectations.
To close, what happened to the India G20 summit excitement? It’s barely 4 months & the public seem to have completely forgotten it.
Same will happen to the budget & the general elections. Non events as soon as they get over.
