In stock market, there’s a saying amongst traders – “Bhaav Bhagvan Che” (Price is God).
Which as a value investor, I beg to differ. For me, “Mulya Bhagvan Che” (Value is God).
I bought ITC at 160s in huge quantities when people were making fun & memes out of it.
Today, the same people are trying hard to buy it near 300.
I bought because I saw undervaluations & an opportunity to make money because of this mispricing between price & value.
Many are buying it these days, just because it is making 52 weeks new highs while Nifty is near it’s 52 weeks lows.
Price changes narratives in the stock market.
Value is the utmost truth. Value makes money for you.
The challenge is that, first you need to know how to calculate value. Which majority of people have no clue about.
