Few months back, the so called platform stocks were shoved down the throats of investors.
IRCTC
CDSL
IEX, etc
Most of these are around 50% down from all time highs.
Those who just focused on these platform stocks stories & went all in without diversifying in other businesses are on the verge of sleeping on platforms now.
2 key learnings I learnt from this platform stocks hype:
1. Diversify well.
2. Look at the valuations no matter how rosy the story seems. Stock prices usually reverse to the mean.
