Berkshire Hathaway, managed by Warren Buffett did report it’s $1.6 Billion losses today in their Annual Meeting.
It’s an interesting perspective to look into. Even legendary investors go thru down days (Which is absolutely normal, if you see to it as a matured investor).
I’ve seen thousands of novice investors sell their holdings when they encounter losses. They panic sell, curse the market and go home to live their mediocre life never to return to stock market again. Such a shame.
Profits & Losses are part of the market.
If you can’t digest losses, you don’t deserve to be in stock market. Better invest your money in FDs.
Stock Market is for people who can digest losses and volatility with a smile on face & hope for a better future. Eventually these people win & Warren Buffett is one of them.
