Trends are not always your friend.
Every breaking news is not something you’ve to always relate to or make sense to you.
What’s breaking news today, barely would be talked about.
What happened to 9/11, US Iraq war, 2008 recession, greece debt crises, demonetisation, brexit, Covid, Russia Ukraine war, Israel Iran war?
THE WORLD MOVED ON!
It’s only you who keeps & will keep getting bothered with all the ‘events’ happening around, irrespective of whether they impact you directly/indirectly or not.
Following trend and getting too much engrossed with something is a sign of a not so smart person. (I’m the most polite here as much as I can).
The wise & smart just observe things, let events unfold & be as equanimous as they could be.
I’m at that point in life (thanks to stock market), where I’ll not much surprised even if let’s say Russia-Us (Largest nuke countries) goes to war.
Again I’m not saying that a war will happen (for the dumb people: I can’t be most polite always). I’m just saying that even the most historical moments will most likely fail to surprise me.
And I think this comes when you embrace the chaos and don’t get swayed by trends or so called ‘breaking news’
