The Legal Loot In India

Tax is a legal loot in India.

You pay taxes out of fear. You no more pay taxes with intentions of nation building these days. Especially after the nonsensical introduction of GST on EVERYTHING (taxes on spending money on which you’ve already paid tax as Income tax).

If you don’t pay taxes, the department will send you notices. File cases against you & even freeze your assets including your bank accounts, demat & order of restraint on selling property.

Hence, no way out, but pay tons of taxes forcefully.

And on the other hand, if you pay tax, what do you get in return? Nothing! Zilch.

When I used to file taxes for my clients, I literally saw people paying more taxes than they spent on themselves.

Tax payers, the real minority of India, are taken for a ride. This is irrespective of whichever party is in power.

(For people wondering, who should we vote then? There’s an option called NOTA. You can use that when you vote. That is the only way politician & policy makers will hear your voice. When none of them is elected. Make your voice heard).

If you don’t raise your voices, let me assure you- you, your kids & their kids would be treated as modern slaves, sucked out of your very own hard earned money.

If we pay half of what we earn as taxes, we are bound to get something in return. At least privilege & preferences over others who don’t.

For people thinking, but government offers many services…

1. Your kids probably won’t go to government schools. The education there is substandard.

2. Most of the government hospitals are in pathetic condition that you won’t step into it for a treatment.

3. The insurance you take to get treatment in private hospitals is also taxed under GST.

4. There’s no social security in India like Europe or USA.
