Your twenties are building blocks & foundations for rest of your life.
Not a single day should go where you don’t work for yourself.
Each day should be spent on either making money or setting up streams of income, acquiring & building a skillset, enhancing your knowledge, getting in better shape both physically & most importantly mentally, buying assets, staying away from liabilities, networking, getting a new perspective, etc.
Do any of these above each day & see yourself outgrowing others. You need not follow any sequence. Just do any of the above things until it’s like playing a game for you.
Keep a set of activities which will empower you. Do it in rotation.
Don’t feel like working out today? Cool. Let’s read that book & improve our knowledge.
Don’t feel like working on that skill today? Cool. Let’s workout today.
Don’t feel like doing anything today? Cool. Let’s sit silently & meditate today.
The idea is simple. Never waste a day.
Your twenties need to be used meticulously for you to lead a good life.
Sadly, most people in twenties ruin themselves in video games, partying & clubbing, dating, getting wasted in addictions & bad influences. Some of these are fun. You can do these in your spare time though wasting an entire day on any of these ain’t advisable.
Life is meant to be enjoyed. Though, first deserve then desire.
I’m 28 & I sincerely don’t remember wasting a single day in past 8 years. I’ll agree, I’ve done all the fun things though each of those days I did something which helped build me who I am today.
I’ve never heard any successful person working on themselves in twenties & regretting later. Though, you’ll meet countless people regretting wasting their twenties.
Heck, the same applies to those in 30s, 40s & 50s too. Never waste a day. Though, I can understand the responsibilities & obligations many of those above 30 have.
Work on yourself. That’s the biggest fun.
Never waste a day.
